The 3 F’s to Life’s Greatest Riches

MY FRIDAY STORY

Here is another Friday Story I’d like to add. While this may not be directions on how to market, we all still need to get back to what’s really important in our lives. I am in this industry to so I can work from home and be with my family. Sometimes I find myself being consumed and I spend too much time building my business and not enough with my loved ones.

The 3 “F’s” to Life’s Greatest Riches

by Darcy Keith

In one week’s time, which was just two and a half weeks ago, my family experienced two losses. While facing my losses, I was forced to face my riches. The first loss was the tragic and unexpected death of one of my good friends, De, who was thirty-six years old as well as four and a half months pregnant with her third child. The second loss was the death of my eighty-seven year old great-uncle, Jack, the last “grandparent” figure in our small family.

During my Uncle Jack’s funeral, the pastor said something which caused me to put down my tear-soaked tissue for a moment and think. Yes, there will be a void in my heart for both De and Uncle Jack. But, we celebrate their lives and how we are richly blessed by knowing them. And, we will get to see them one day in heaven because both had accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Richly blessed, rich? We don’t seem to hear that word a lot today. The pastor went on to say that there are three “F’s” to the greatest riches in the world. These are faith, family, and friends. When we have faith, we are children of the richest King in the world! That King makes us heirs to mansions in heaven.

I am rich because I have family that cares for and loves me. If I didn’t have a family like this, who knows where I would be after receiving life-threatening injuries in my car crash in which two of my friends perished? Would I have received the best medical care and treatment or just been admitted to any medical facility?

I am rich because I have friends that care how my family is doing. They help celebrate successes and are there when I hit milestone birthdays. When times are tough, I remind myself of the blessings in my life. And suddenly, I remember I’m rich, and life is grand again. Though there are times when money may be tight, look around you. You have the keys to life’s greatest riches.

Take a look to see what part the three “F’s” play in your life. Do you make time for your faith? Your family? Your friends? If not, what’s stopping you? As I see it, the three “F’s” don’t cost any money. But, they do “cost” time.

Here are three thoughts to gain the greatest riches in your life today: 1. Invest in your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 2. Spend more quality time with you family. This could be taking a walk around your neighborhood or going to the park, or maybe even sitting down an eating dinner together at least five times a week. 3. Get together for fellowship and great times with friends.

It’s time well invested, and riches well received.

To your wealth!

The 3 Main Obstacles to Your Personal Growth and Development

As humans, our inherent nature is to be positive. We all tend to gravitate towards positivity rather than to negativity, but why do we seem to move to the negative side sometimes? Are negative thoughts really a part of us? What are the obstacles that keep us from reaching our highest potential? There are three main reasons why our growth and personal development is hindered and unfortunately, we just don’t notice most of them.

1. Closed-mindedness: Many times, we are so narrow-headed that we block our minds from accepting new opinions and fresh ideas. We feel “cozy” in our comfort zones and as a result we are never able to step out of the “box” of life.

2. Lack of time management: We all know that if we don’t manage our time properly, our schedule will go out the door. Imagine what it takes to plan something. What will happen if you set goals but never measure up to what is expected? Nothing but a broken dream. All the planning and build up for success in that goal will never materialize without appropriate time management. When you are ahead of time you will always benefit.

3. Distractions: We tend to give in to distractions and it often takes our personal progress down another path. Distractions always seem to affect us most when we are overloaded with deadlines and tasks to accomplish. The internet offers many distractions, such as Facebook and YouTube, and for internet marketers, a day’s progress can be sabotaged by spending hours on these addicting sites!

Always remember to do your best not to stray from your goals for the day, week, month, etc…

Just keep your focus on what you need to do.

When this becomes habit, you will be able to develop and attain the growth you desire.

Growth and development can only happen when we allow it to happen.

Therefore, we must be open to new ideas in order to grow.

In summary, keep your mind open, pay attention to fresh ideas, write down your plans and steer clear of distractions. If you follow these principles, you will likely reach those goals you want to attain and you will become the person you desire to be.

10 Inspiring Thoughts for Tough Times

10 Inspiring Thoughts for Tough Times

Hi Friends. I get these emails each day and on Friday’s there is usually a story that is relevant to my site and what it takes to get by in life. So here again is another, Friday Story.

-Jeremy

By Noah benShea
Difficult financial times often inspire people to become more extraordinary. Challenge and adversity can push people toward their own greatness. It can launch you on a deeper personal journey toward happiness, fulfillment, and a life of meaning. As you explore ways to gather strength and improve self-esteem, remember, it is not so much about what you have but who you are. May these tips inspire you. May you go from strength to strength and be a source of strength to others.
Broke Is Not Broken
Being broke is not the same as being broken, losing money is not the same as being lost, and finding your balance is not something you can do on a balance sheet.

Having Less Doesn’t Mean You Are Less
Don’t confuse having less with being less, having more with being more, or what you have with who you are.

Savor Life and Slow Down
When you’re in a hurry, go slowly. The faster you go in life the sooner it is a blur.

Prayer Creates a New Path
Prayer creates a path where there is none and turns your stumbling blocks into building blocks.

Courage Is Not Absence of Fear
Put your faith, and not your fears, in charge. Courage isn’t the absence of fears but how you wrestle with them.

Embrace the Future
If you’re busy hugging the past, you can’t embrace the future. Don’t let the past kidnap your future.

Change Is the Only Constant
This too shall pass. Change is the only constant. In order to take a breath, you must release your breath.

Make a Difference
Do what you can, but never forget that letting go is very different from giving up. Of all the things you can make in life, remember you make all the difference in your life.

Embrace Happiness
Tough times don’t require you to be tough on yourself. Find the courage to embrace happiness.

You Are Great
Things don’t have to be good for you to be great.

A Message from One American To Another

Hi friends, I got this in my email the other day and it really hit home with my views on our great country and the fact that I am extremely blessed to be living here versus many other places on the planet. However, I see an increasing darkness, selfishness and FEAR spreading across our country like never before.

This nation was founded on integrity, faith and a vision. Without a vision the people cast of restraint! I’m stepping out in faith during a very uncertain economical time to do what men have done before me. Build a business, pour back in to the community and help others reach their goals. I’m proud to be an American but if we continue on this dark course, I will probably be saying, “I’m proud to be an Aussie” very soon! icon smile A Message from One American To Another

A Message from one American to Another

By Carl Morris

Out of adversities come greatness; out of necessities come innovations. We must live by these words to overcome the problems facing our country and us. Neither our government nor our employers can change the problems before us only ourselves, only as an America united.

In the image of our forefathers, we must work together, to renew the purpose of our nation and insure the dreams for our future will become a reality. It is imperative to preserve our heritage, understand our roots and defend our freedom. United by a common cause our country became the envy of the world. We must once again unite as Americans.

We as Americans must provide the vision of the American way, the way of freedom, integrity, innovation, leadership, friendship and dreams for every American. We must believe in our country, our creator and ourselves and have the faith that even in the face of adversity our efforts can and will make a difference. FDR stated, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself.” We cannot become stifled by fear, stress, uncertainty or divisiveness. But choose freedom over fear.

The vision that we must share is about freedom, innovation, teamwork and opportunities for our future It’s about an American way the only way to realize our dreams, share our vision and insure our futures. The dream everyone in, or coming to America shared was not a dream of one religion, race or gender but an American dream. A dream of freedom, spiritually, ideologically and economically. Martin Luther King exclaimed, “I have a dream”; John F. Kennedy said, “it’s not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”.

As Americans, I repeat as Americans, we must embrace those visions and act upon them, not just for our individual benefit, but for the benefit of all. We were not granted freedom to abuse one another, condemn one another, and ignore one another. We were granted freedom to become more than the sum of all of us combined. Freedom to improve upon, not destroy what has been done.

To do this means a shared vision that works for everyone not just a select few equal opportunity for all the desire to dream for all. Without our dreams, without our visions, without our freedom and without “In God We Trust”, we as Americans will indeed fail. The United States of America: “United we stand, United we shall prevail”.

With Hope and Conviction,

An American citizen

Lost Your Focus — or Your Hope

Lost Your Focus — or Your Hope?

In just a few weeks we’ll be entering the fourth quarter of the year and many of us have lost focus on the goals we set during January.

It’s always hard to keep your eye on the ball for the entire year, but this year has been even more challenging than most for many people.

Well there’s still hope. In fact, the 90 days we have in the fourth quarter (beginning October 1) is more than enough time to achieve some pretty incredible results. Stop and think about it:

90 days is usually plenty of time to see a significant result from a weight loss plan. Most businesses are launched during a 90-day period and many, many books are written in 90 days. In fact, Napoleon Hill wrote the classic Think and Grow Rich in under 90 days.

Our four seasons are 90 days apart. You can go from the harshest of Winter to the overflowing, abundant life of Spring in just 90 days. Most of our agricultural crops have a 90-day growing period. From seed to harvest in 90 days. It works with plants…and it works with dreams and goals.

Does that give you some hope that you might have a shot at turning this year around in the next few months?

You are a reflection of your thoughts and words. Take an inventory of your thoughts because most likely you are exactly where your thoughts have brought you at this point. The beauty of thoughts is that  you have control over them, so if you’re not where you want to be, change your thoughts and you will reach your true destination.

I know that I am exactly where my thoughts and words have led me. Both good and bad but you know what? If my negative thoughts have brought me to this certain point in time, I now that my true desires and thoughts will be made manifest in due time. Patience, faith and action will bring the result I seek.

“You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.” – James Allen

You are a champion and you were created for great things. Don’t let the enemies of this world make you believe anything other than this truth.

Are You Living By Design Or By Chance

Are You Living by Design?

Are you living life by chance or by design? Living by design takes a few simple but neglected steps including purpose, discipline, and one other…

In order to take the first steps towards living by design, you first need to create a purpose for yourself. Find the “why” for you. When you keep the “why” before you, decisions become straightforward. Zig Ziglar, in his great audio program called “Goals,” gives us two questions to ask as we make choices:

1.)   Is it morally right and fair to everyone involved?

2.)   Does it get me closer or further from my primary objective?

With a clear, created purpose and these questions, life becomes clear and you will know the direction you are moving. It’s up to you to find and achieve your best and highest calling. Will you do it?

Strengthening Discipline and Will Power

Thanks to the “me” focus of our culture for the past several generations, we have lost sight of the need for, and the benefit of, discipline and will power. Instead of denying themselves in the present in order to achieve a future benefit, most people want to receive the benefit today and then be rewarded the benefit tomorrow! Credit problems, government programs, and the constant drone of the “blame game” all reflect the idea that there should be no consequences for taking the easy and enjoyable patch today. However, life doesn’t work that way. The overriding law of nature is that of cause and effect: the consequences of your life are ultimately determined by what you have done and how you have done it.

So here is the ultimate question for you: Are you willing to invest now in order to receive a return later? What you do and the way you do it will ultimately determine the path of your life. Jim Rohn often says, “We can choose the pain we experience, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.”

It takes will power to deny yourself, but with a purpose, it’s easier. If you know you are going to weigh a certain amount, it’s easy to turn down that dessert. If you know where you are going, choosing the turns to get you there is actually pretty easy.

Managing Time

For many years “time management” has been a staple of business management seminar speakers and personal development books. The problem, of course, is that you can’t really manage time. Time just moves forward. Moments turn in to minutes. Minutes turn into hours. Then days, weeks, months, years. There’s nothing any of us can do to “manage” time. Everyone has the same amount: 24 hours in every day. You can’t buy time, save time, or make time. As in the immortal words of that great prophet of my youth who states, “Time keeps on slippin’ slippin’ slippin’… in to the future.”

So if you can’t manage time, you need to learn how to manage and improve what is happening with your time. This is simple but challenging: You have to learn to manage yourself. It is self management. It is discovering in your very soul that each moment passing is a moment that will never pass again. How you are spending it and all of the other moments of your days, months, and years will determine the path and results of your life. You will discover that how you live each moment makes a difference in what ultimately happens in your life.

Remember those goals for the next year that you have written out? How present are they for you right now? Have you thought about them today? If not, why not? Take a moment now and focus on them.

Aligning Goals and Life

Keeping them present for yourself will help you to adjust your days and your use of time to align with accomplishing what’s important to you. That’s one reason that you write them down and a good reason to review them once in a while. I review my goals daily and I actually keep my primary goal on a laminated card which I carry in pocket everyday. It’s on a florescent orange cardstock allowing it to stay really active in my mind so I can use them as I make decisions throughout my day. The more active you are in engaging your goals with your life, the more real they become to you. And the more real they become.

There is nothing as sad as human beings who have left their destiny to chance. Those who think that life is something that happens to them rather than something they design are sad shadows of what they are made to be. You see, you design your life by deciding how you’ll use it every moment of every day. Each moment is the most precious gift that you have. So how do you spend them? How will you spend the moments that stretch out before you? How many do you have?

No Mortal Knows

While we don’t know how many moments are left to us, what we all know is that there are only so many. You can’t recover one that is gone. You can’t buy or find more. So they are valuable, precious and of infinite worth. But they’re free. Because of that we treat them as though they are worthless, but nothing could be farther from the truth. So, starting right now, live your life with focus. Know where you’re going and why you’re going there. Manage yourself and move towards your vision. Let’s go!

Peoples Greatest Enemy

Peoples Greatest Enemy

Outside of being our own worst enemy at times, it is said that people’s greatest enemy is fear. Fear is behind failure, sickness and poor human relations. Millions of people are afraid of the past, the future, old age, insanity, and death. But fear is a thought in your mind. This means that you are afraid of your own thoughts.

A small child can be paralyzed with fear when a friend or sibling says there is a monster under the bed who will grab him in the night. But when the parents turn on the lights and show him there is no monster, he is freed from fear. The fear in the mind of the child was every bit as real as if there were really a monster there. He was healed of a false thought in his mind. The thing he feared did not exist.

In the same way, most of our fears have no reality. They are merely a conglomeration of sinister shadows, and shadows have no reality.

Step outside of your fear and let faith take you to a new level. Even if you’ve failed at something in the past it doesn’t mean you need to stop trying. Failure is natures way of building lasting success and you were not created to live in fear but live life in the creative where fear has no place.

You are a champion! Now make it a fearless great day!

How Bad Do You Want What You Want

How Bad Do You Want What You Want?

The story is told that a young man asked Socrates how he could wisdom.

“Come with me,” Socrates replied. He took the young man to a river and shoved his head underwater. He held it there until the boy struggled for air. The he let him go.

Once the boy regained himself, Socrates asked him, “What did you desire most when your head was under water?”

“I wanted air”, the boy told him.

Socrates nodded slowly. “When you want wisdom as much as you wanted air when you were immersed in the water, he said, “you will receive it.”

In the same way, when

  • you have an intense, sincere desire to overcome a certain block in your life;
  • you come to a clear-cut decision that there is a way out;
  • you confidently decide that that is the course you wish to follow,

then the victory and triumph are assured.

If you really want peace of mind and inner calm, you will get it. It doesn’t matter how unjustly you have been treated, or how unfair the boss has been, or what a mean jackass someone has proved to be. All this make no difference to you when you awaken to your mental and spiritual powers. You know what you want, and you will definitely refuse to let the thieves (thoughts) of hatred, anger, hostility and ill will rob you of peace, harmony, health and happiness.

Once you learn the habit of identifying your thoughts immediately with your aim in life, you cease to become upset by people, conditions, news and events. Your aim is peace, health inspiration, harmony and abundance. Feel a river of peace flowing through you now. Your thought is the immaterial and invisible power, and you choose to let it bless, inspire and give you peace.

Hello friends and eager entrepreneurs. Jeremy Johnston here and if you don’t know it, I’m all about mindset! It is my belief that a person cannot obtain anything worthwhile if they do not have the proper mindset and understand “certainty”.

I wanted to share an article I came across because it couldn’t have been written better if I had done it myself. icon smile How Having the Right Mindset Can Change the Results of Your Efforts

I have accomplished more in the last few months because of my new mindset than any other time in the online marketing industry and I’m just getting started. So enjoy the post and I hope you find it as beneficial as I did.

To Your Success,
BEE17800F68EB2AEC26954C6E8AFBA64 How Having the Right Mindset Can Change the Results of Your Efforts

The right mind-set, especially of the way you think of yourself, can have many consequences in the results of your efforts. Those that acquire positive thoughts and can apply that sense to their lives and efforts made also acquire the greatest outcomes. It’s a known fact that your thoughts control what you attract, whether negative or positive. It’s a simple concept known as the “Law of Attraction”. If you can master this law of attraction, the possibilities are endless. Doors that have been closed by resistance will open without effort.

You must believe that you have what it takes to achieve your goal. Napoleon Hill, author of “Think and Grow Rich”, developed a self mastery in this subject and has been quoted in his book to say “What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” The success of all business entrepreneurs that have gone above and beyond in order to achieve and acquire their goals has been a total result of believing in themselves and NEVER giving up. Picture yourself as already reaching your goals and life has a mysterious way, better known as the Law of Attraction, of making them a reality.

Now, I have a question for you, are you a fence hopper or a fence sitter? The difference is whether you can make a quick decision or not when you are faced with an opportunity. The ability to keep moving forward and not be held back by indecisiveness can make the difference between success and failure. Most new entrepreneurs get stuck in “paralysis by analysis” and become frustrated at the fact that they just don’t seem to be getting any closer to reaching their goals.

When an opportunity confronts you, do your analysis and make a decision. Once the decision is made, don’t waste your energy on worrying if it was a good decision or not, it’s called taking chances. And chances are what we take each and every day unconsciously. From driving, to shopping for the right product or service, to deciding on what foods to eat, etc. These are all decisions we make daily and we are taking chances at all of them. We have no way to know exactly what the outcome is going to be in every decision we make, so when offered an opportunity to make a big change in our lives, why do some still hesitate? The answer: Confidence!

Having confidence in you is one of the necessary success keys to an entrepreneur. Being able to walk tall without fear or doubt about what others think or say about you determines your level of success in anything you set your mind to. One of the biggest dream stealers in life is lacking the belief and confidence needed to do what it takes to be the person you want to be or do the things you’ve always wanted to do.

No one, no matter who they are, were they’re from, what background they have, should feel inferior to anyone else’s success level. We are all the same and all have the same amount of time in a day as those with a high level of success. So lack of self-confidence should not exist in a life of abundance, were there is enough to go around for everyone.

Another aspect of mastering having the right mind-set is to set realistic expectations and hold yourself liable to those short term goals. Unrealistic goals can make a person question whether the actual goal is attainable. Don’t lose the confidence and focus in your efforts to attain your goal by making this mistake. If, for example, your goal is to make $50,000, don’t use a date that obviously is unrealistic unless you have set a definite plan of action in which you believe can be achieved.

Instead, make the amount coincide with the set time frame. That way it is more attainable and motivation will not be lost if the specific goal is not reached. You can always set a later date for the same goal and continue with your efforts in obtaining that goal. The key here is continuing to move toward your expectation with persistence and never quitting.

Most importantly, have Fun! If you’re not enjoying yourself while working at reaching those expectations, you will lose motivation and your efforts will just seem to you work. That’s the great thing about the day and age we live in. We can leverage technology to help acquire new friends and business partners if the time to physically perform this action is impossible. I’ve personally made more friends and business acquaintances through the use of online social networks than I’ve ever done personally. It just becomes impossible to physically be everywhere at once.

Having created these awesome friends give me the necessary positive environment to keep focus on my goals and keep moving ahead in life. Whether it is in person or through the use of technology, enjoy the experience of meeting new people and making new friends. Doing so keeps your mind-set laser targeted, focused, motivated, and confident that what you want out of life you will get.

With that said, I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you so feel free to leave comments or share this article with others.

Wishing You a Life of Abundance,

Being Fearless In Difficult Times

Hi Friends,

I received this email the other day and it really resonated with me because I share the same thoughts and ideas when it comes to life and how to obtain our desires while still having peace in a troubled economy.

I love to build others up until they have the same mindset that has set me free from fear, doubt, worry and anxiety to living the life I want, when i want and how I want. No more working to make another man rich unless I’m pouring in to him what he needs to become rich on his own. To me that is not work, that is passion.

Enjoy the post below and believe in yourself. I believe in you!

FEARLESS IN DIFFICULT TIMES.

By Ton Pascal

Am I making the right choice? Should I change directions and line of work, or should I look for another job? When things are not what you used to know, and difficult times surround you at every turn, it is normal that you start questioning yourself and your motivation. BUT it is then that you need to see YOU for who you really are.

First of all, you need to believe in yourself 100%. You will also need a good dose of strong motivation, lots of positive thinking and positive attitude. Simple no? Yes, very much so, if you have, or are willing to learn how to put the above prerequisites to work.

This task can be very intimidating for people who are not very organized or detail oriented. If this is your case, talk to your friends and family about your situation. They can be a positive support. Or, it may be time to think about bringing in a life coach. Your fear and resistance will try to push you back and a strong supporter will make a huge difference in achieving your goals. This much talk about spiritual evolution didn’t start for nothing. Like it or not, we do live in a very physical, ordinary and dirty world.

If we look at statistics from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Ca., 37,000 Americans die by their own hand each year, one every 16 minutes. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S.A. and the third ranking killer of young people. People aged 65 and older accounted for 16% of suicide deaths in 2004 alone. Of nearly 16,000 violent deaths occurring in 16 states, 56% were suicides.

The difficult times we are facing in our world right now require a more spiritual approach to our everyday lives, I cannot emphasize it enough. More then ever, we need to assert ourselves and find our inner peace. When some people tell you “don’t be a cry baby, life is good,” what you really want to do is to slap them. You have a mortgage, or a payment due, taxes, the wife’s card, kid’s school, and God knows what, and there is no money in the bank. And life is good? It sucks!!!

“There are three ingredients in the good life: learning, earning and yearning,” said Christopher Morley. Being a spiritual self help advocate doesn’t mean I disagree with you. We are on the same reality page.

Here are a few easy and practical things I suggest you can do to make it through these difficult times:

1- Gratitude. Use this simple formula of Positive Attitude and gratitude. You know what it means, this positive thinking and attitude jargon. You are not a moron, but what we often forget is to give thanks for all that we have in life. Don’t resist changes and situations, it only brings anxiety and pain. Each time you are thankful, you transform that moment into positive energy, which then will transform your life.

2- Positive Affirmations. Use positive affirmations as much as possible. Do them from getting up to when you go to bed. It will imprint in your brain a new ‘positive attitude route’ to follow. You may encounter resistance from your old self to this new path, but don’t resist, and be thankful that you have these choices, and it is you who designs and creates your own reality. Make a selection of positive affirmations and paste them around your house. I have a list of them on my blog, Dream Your Life Positively, feel free to copy it. You can start with these: I am good, I am beautiful and I am successful. I am grateful for my life. I am grateful for myself. I accept only what is good and positive.

3- Visualize. Visualize your life and everything you want in a perfect state of completion. Sounds, smells, tastes, bring all these sensations into your dream. The richer and more vivid your visualizations, the sooner you will experience them in your real life. Breathe deeply and rhythmically when doing your visualizations. Deep breathing is like a deep inner cleansing. It purifies your body and your mind of all negative thoughts and feelings.

4- Meditate. In a state of relaxation, slowly bring up your problems. Learn how to look into them as a spectator. Again, don’t resist. Let them come and go without being emotionally involved with them. Don’t judge the scenarios and action playing in your mind. They are neither good nor bad. Observe them, you don’t want to control what is happening. They are situations and different options that make life interesting as it is. Your mortgage, your overdue bills, family problems will be there tomorrow, but you are now able to look at them from a different angle. Your newly learned unemotional focus allows your mind to be clear of despairing thoughts and emotions.

The above exercises have the power to move things around and these desperate challenges become positive opportunities for learning. You now welcome and give thanks for this new opening in your life. It may seem a little simplistic, the above steps, but your challenge is to do it time after time and every day of your life. There are no easy answers or quick fixes for difficult situations, but with this understanding you are a step closer to inner peace.

You were created with wonderful qualities. You are star stuff, pure energy, and a divine creation. Open yourself up and let this positive energy flow free.

Have a great journey,

Ton Pascal

I hope enjoyed the message and I look forward to connecting with anyone who is looking for change and stability in this crazy world. There is a way to have peace and work from home. You can have the desires of your heart.
