How To Bring Prospects In To Your Business

Working from the comfort of your home in today’s internet age is more competitive than ever. I mean who wouldn’t want to be their own boss?

If you’re to have victory in today’s online business world, you will have to do something other than promote your company or opportunity. You have got to promote or brand yourself as the leader!

Whether you like it or not you must understand this one truth, people desire to work with leaders. They want this more than some a company, opportunity, lotion, potion or comp plan, people basically prefer a trustworthy, outgoing and integrity based person that can show them the ropes.

The majority of people are looking for someone who can show and is achieving the results they are looking for as well as a leader that has a legitimate interest in their ability to succeed.

By increasing your know-how and skills in the home based business arena, you make your self stand out which is the best way to be that leader others are looking for. Personal development is vital.

You might be asking, “How do I do this?” Simple, you do what others don’t or won’t do on their own and would rather learn from someone else. Also known as the employee mindset. Intelligent followers will soon break free from this crippling mindset and soar on their own and become great leaders while the others will always be, just a follower.

Remember, it is no disgrace to be a follower. On the other hand, is it no credit to remain one and most great leaders start out following before they led which is great news!

Another thing to note is that you’re not required to become the pro at everything, just choose your own niche or sub-niche. The key to remember is that you just need to have something to offer your prospects that they don’t have.

This could be anything from knowing how to run a pay-per click campaign in Google, free lead generation like articles and videos, to talking to prospects via the phone, writing sales pages and the list goes on. Even if you’re just willing to help them get started and come up with a game plan, than you’ve just become a valuable leader in their eyes.

What if I’m just starting out and I’m not an expert at anything?

The first thing I would do is make sure you are a part of a successful team that has leaders with a proven marketing system. Learn from them, read and possibly join a local meet of like minded entrepreneurs and absorb what you can. Just remember, the blind can’t lead the blind successfully.

Think about this for a moment and see if the following two reasons are the very reasons that you, me or anyone else would partner with someone else…

1.) You are a leader that they have been looking for and they believe you can help them.

2.) You have a proven marketing system that they feel they utilize and benefit greatly from.

It’s not rocket science when you drill right down to it. If you are partnered with a failing team or you don’t possess any special skills than it’s going to be very difficult to succeed.

However, you can change both of those elements in very little time and this my friend is great news.

If you’re on a losing team or don’t have a team then go find a winning team join them ASAP. If you’re not sure what to study or where to start, I would recommend buying a few courses on mindset and find an area of marketing you’d like to pursue and learn it inside and out.

The very fact that I have spent thousands on training, seminars, courses and books is the very reason why people contact me to join my business. They see it in me and hear it in my voice and it’s because I’ve developed the leader within me.

I connect with my prospects for the first time to insure they have my contact information and to introduce myself. From that point on, it’s up to them if they want to contact me.

There is no more cold calling or chasing people down. People have to contact me first if they want to work with me and it’s all because I took the time to invest in myself.

If this sounds like work, you’re absolutely correct. This is a business, not a hobby even though this type of business is as fun as any hobby I’ve picked up. Is it worth it? Yes and I’ve never looked back.

Just remember, at the end of the day, people don’t join comp plans, they join people!
